AIR RESCUE NY / MANHATTAN
For equipment connected to a building system, start with the unit and the people responsible for it. We take Manhattan fan-coil and water-source heat-pump inquiries and confirm the supported work for each job.
Calls answered 24/7. Appointment and equipment availability confirmed separately.
01
An apartment's heating or cooling equipment may be described loosely as a “wall unit” or “air handler.” Those labels are not enough to determine the service scope. Use the make and model already available, or information supplied by building management, to identify the equipment.
If the unit is a PTAC, our PTAC service page is the more direct route.
02
A problem inside one apartment and an issue reported across a shared system call for different coordination. The superintendent or managing agent may have information about building conditions that an individual occupant does not. Establish who can provide that information and authorize access before assuming the work is limited to the room unit.
For contractor documents and access arrangements, see co-op and condo HVAC work.
Share the equipment information you have, the problem reported and the responsible building contact.
